"Even though we lived in Sweetwater County (about 100 miles south of Pinedale), we came up all the time had her property up here since 1990," she said.

When she came out west, Judy applied for a secretary position at a real estate office in Green River in 1980, where she was told that the office would rather hire her to sell homes.

Where she came from

Judy was raised in Wisconsin where she sold her own homes and worked in the accounting field. When she came out west, she applied for a secretary position at a real estate office in Green River where she was told that the office would rather hire her to sell homes.

Family

Judy and her husband have a son and a daughter. While their daughter is a veterinarian in Montrose, Colorado, the Seehafers are fortunate to have their son and his family living in Pinedale, which includes a wonderful granddaughter and another on the way. Their hope is to continue to enjoy the great outdoors with their son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren.

Spare Time

Judy moved to the area in April 2008, joining her husband who had moved up to Sublette County after retiring.

Judy works hard to keep up with her spouse who works harder now keeping all the pastures green and hay growing with Judy by his side.

They live in their dream home, close to the mountains they adore with their world full of hunting along the Wind River Mountain Range, fishing among the 1,300 lakes, rivers and streams as well as walking with their two dogs, Brutus and Molly, and riding horses. The couple also enjoys just relaxing at their wonderful home.
