"Pinedale's a wonderful place. Whether it's winter with cross-country skiing or summer and hiking, I just love the outdoors."

Experience and Credentials

With 34 years of working experience in Sublette County, there is little that Jill has not had experience with in the real estate business.

"I had to learn a little bit of all of it," she said.

More than 30 years ago, she attained her GRI-Graduate Realtor Institute Designation to accompany her completed bachelor's degree with math major.

Jill has expertise in all areas of real estate, including Residential Properties, Land listings and Ranch sales.

Philosophy

Jill feels strongly that agents or brokers should really care about the people they work with and take an interest in and protect them too. She said that clients should know to expect honesty in their dealings with Allen Agency Real Estate as the agency must be completely honest about listings, so must sellers be honest with Allen Agency.

Where She Came From

Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jill moved to Pinedale in 1974.

"I came out west one summer and that was it," she said. "It changed my life."

That was the summer of 1966. Jill began teaching math that fall. In 1974 Jill said that Pinedale had too many teachers, and she decided to work with her husband. But then an opportunity opened up to work at Allen Agency Real Estate with the company's founder Paul Allen, where she has been working with potential homeowners and sellers since 1975.

In 1998 as long-time member of the Wyoming Association of Realtors, Jill took the helm for a stint at the State President.

Family

In 2008, Jill and her husband celebrated 40 years of marriage. Their two children live in the area, allowing Jill lots of time to enjoy her three grandchildren.

Spare Time

Often found hiking, fishing, cross-country skiing, golfing or llama trekking during her off hours, Jill takes full advantage of what Pinedale and Sublette County outdoors have to offer.
