"I grew up here and I think it's a great place to raise my family," Charlee said of Pinedale, where she loves the outdoor accessibility as well as the community's small-town nature.
When Charlee and her husband, Shane, purchased their home in Cheyenne, her real estate agent advised her that she should consider real estate as her career.
"I was told I'd be great at this, and here I am," she said.
Charlee started at Allen Agency Real Estate as the office manager. When the Thomsons decided to add to their family, Charlee said she was encouraged to get her license.
Charlee has been in real estate for four years, receiving her Associate Broker's License in 2007.
She holds an Associate's Degree from the Laramie County Community College in Applied Science.
Honest and straightforward dealings are at the heart of Charlee's philosophy in working with clients.
"When a client spells out expectations that's what guides you in finding the right real estate prospects."
Charlee grew up in Pinedale and moved away from her hometown to attend college and work in Cheyenne for a few years. While she never left the state of Wyoming, eventually Charlee found her way home to Sublette County in 2003.
Charlee married a Pinedale native about eight years ago, and with their 4-year-old daughter, the family has made their home in the Cora Valley. The Thomson family purchased a small, local motel two and a half years ago and enjoy the everyday operations and meeting new people who visit the area.
In addition to participating in the abundant outdoor activities available to Sublette County residents, Charlee is also known to curl up with a good book as well as spin yarn with her knitting needles and just hang out with her family.
Charlee's husband is also an avid roper while their 4-year-old daughter is beginning to take the reigns on barrel racing.
